MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION
AT WEST HARTFORD YOGA
860 953-YOGA
Stop! What are you thinking right now? Dwelling on the past or obsessing about the future? Learn how sweet it is to live in the present moment, aware of your surroundings, thoughts and actions rather than always looking around the corner for the next thing to do or become.
Mindfully Stress-Less develops your ability to pay attention, on purpose, to whatever is happening in the present moment. Greater calmness can enhance your ability to cope with stress, pain, illness, or worry.
Sharon Gutterman, PhD
Sharon Gutterman, Ph.D. trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction under the direction of Drs. Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. and Saki Santorelli and completed her practicum at University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
Using the tools of meditation, body scan, yoga, and group support you can improve your wellbeing. You can learn how to quiet your mind, center your body, and connect the mind and body as a unified whole, giving yourself a lifetime gift.
Sharon teaches stress reduction and the importance of self care to physicians at University of Connecticut Health Center, Yale Medical Center, and Baystate Health Systems. Her mantra: “The quality of care you give others is related to the quality of care you give yourself.”
