    I have the TheraSauna 2 person 
   The wood is sitka (they now have aspen, another hypoallergenic wood). Make surethe suana is made from a wood that doesn't off gas toxins. 
   The main thing about the heat source is that it should be all ceramic with no metal parts (better heat, longer lasting, less toxic, etc.) The TheraSauna really is easy to put together (6 pieces - 4 walls top and bottom and about 15 skews. I love it and use it probably 3 times a week for 30-40 minutes
